IT Security Officer (f/m/d)

The European headquarters of Fuji Electric Co Ltd. based in Offenbach am Main has been a reliable partner for customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for products in the fields of semiconductors, drives and external power supplies as well as photoconductors since 1987.
To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for an IT Security Officer (m/f/d) to start on 1 October 2026:
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Advising our Head of IT on IT security risks and mitigation strategies
- Developing and maintaining security governance, policies and compliance frameworks
- Performing risk and security assessments for systems, cloud and third parties
- Driving security-related transformation initiatives (e.g. cloud, zero trust, AI)
- Monitoring threats and vulnerabilities and coordinating mitigation actions
- Leading response to major security incidents including root-cause analysis
- Managing audits, penetration tests and remediation tracking
- Defining security requirements for projects, systems and suppliers
- Evaluating and selecting security technologies and service providers
- Training and advising internal stakeholders
- Occasional support of IT team with 3rd-Level-Support
Your experience, skills and qualities
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT-related field
- Business fluent German and English proficiency
- Strong expertise in cyber risk management, compliance and security governance
- Experience in threat and vulnerability management and incident response
- Solid knowledge of network, application and cloud security
- Hands-on experience with security monitoring, SIEM and penetration testing
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity concepts
- Strong service orientation, sense of responsibility and hands-on mindset
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Experience with SOPHOS environments, securing AD/AAD and EXL, and in the area of ISO 27001
